Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College and Hospital (JLNMC) is a government medical college and tertiary hospital located in Mayaganj, Bhagalpur, Bihar, India. It was established in 1971 by the Government of Bihar to serve both medical education and healthcare needs of the region. The college is affiliated with Bihar University of Health Sciences (BUHS), Patna and recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). It admits 120 MBBS students annually through NEET counselling.

The campus covers a large area (about 400 acres) with academic buildings, modern lecture halls, laboratories, departmental facilities, and a central library facilitating quality medical training. For students, there are separate hostels for boys and girls, sports facilities, indoor/outdoor games, and recreational spaces to support campus life.

The teaching hospital attached to the college is a multi‑specialty facility with approximately 800 beds, including ICU and NICU units. It provides comprehensive healthcare services in medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics & gynecology, orthopedics, radiology, emergency care, and diagnostic services (CT scan, ultrasound, X‑ray, labs). The hospital’s high patient load ensures substantial clinical exposure for medical students.
